The farewell to the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Pyotr Alexandrovich Kucherenko will take place on May 24


On May 20, sad news came: returning from a working trip, State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Pyotr Alexandrovich Kucherenko died suddenly at the 47th year of his life.
Pyotr Alexandrovich worked in the State Duma and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, headed the Department of Judicial Power, Civil Society and Law Enforcement of the RUDN. During his work, he was awarded honorary awards, including the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree. Doctor of Law, Professor.
“Pyotr Alexandrovich was a talented leader, sincerely devoted to his work, a caring person who was an example of responsiveness. He enjoyed great authority and respect from colleagues. Everyone knew him as an open, friendly, sincere person, he was distinguished by his attentive attitude to people and exceptional sensitivity. He always helped in any way he could, and by personal example showed the importance of kindness, morality and caring for others. Pyotr Alexandrovich was a wonderful family man, a loving and beloved husband and father,” the Ministry of Education and Science said in a statement.
The farewell will take place on Wednesday, May 24, at 11:00 – the official memorial service ceremony at the Epiphany Cathedral in Yelokhov, at 13:00 – the funeral at the Troekurov cemetery.
