The Parliamentary Newspaper published an interview with the scientific director of the Moscow State Humanitarian and Economic University Valery Vladimirovich Ryazansky

The official publication of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation – “Parliamentary Newspaper” – published an interview with the scientific director of the Moscow State Humanitarian and Economic University and Chairman of the Union of Pensioners of Russia Valery Vladimirovich Ryazansky.
Valery Vladimirovich Ryazansky worked in the Federal Assembly for more than 20 years, was a deputy of the State Duma of the III, IV and V convocations, a senator of the Russian Federation in 2011-2021. The interview was published as part of a series of publications dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Russian parliament: The Parliamentary Newspaper asked deputies and senators to evaluate the work of the parliament over the years of its existence.
Valery Vladimirovich spoke about some legislative initiatives in which he was directly involved, such as the introduction of a deferral from the army for schoolchildren who turned 18, and amendments to the law on the protection of citizens’ health from the effects of smoking. Valery Vladimirovich called the entry of Crimea into Russia the most striking event during the years of parliamentary work.
