The chief specialist of the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center delivered an open lecture at Moscow State Humanitarian and Economic University

An open lecture by Pavel Nikolayevich Rudnev, Chief Specialist of the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Research and Testing Center of the State Corporation for Space Activities Roscosmos, took place at the Moscow State Humanitarian and Economic University.
Pavel Nikolaevich addressed the students of the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity on the topic “Peculiarities of cosmonauts’ preparation for flight, scientific and applied research and experiments on board the ISS”.
The lecture touched upon the history and modernity of manned cosmonautics, the study of outer space, the creation and operation of space technology, the training of astronauts, as well as the stay of astronauts in orbit.
The students took part in the discussion with great interest. Special attention was paid to such topics as modern achievements in the field of space exploration, prospects for the development of manned complexes and cosmonaut training processes. The audience was especially interested in modern experiments on board the ISS.
